Role Summary
Data Breed Africa is looking for a skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Instructor to train individuals and organizations on modern cybersecurity concepts, tools, and best practices. The role focuses on delivering practical knowledge, inspiring students to learn, and maintaining a high-quality learning experience at Data Breed Africa.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver cybersecurity training sessions and hands-on practical labs
• Inspire students to learn and apply cybersecurity best practices
• Teach core areas including network security, risk management, and threat defense
• Evaluate assignments, labs, and assessments
• Provide constructive feedback and improvement recommendations to learners
• Assist and mentor new instructors through Data Breed Africa’s mentorship program
• Liaise closely with Data Breed Africa to ensure a positive, inclusive, and effective learning experience
• Share insights, feedback, and suggestions to continuously improve training delivery
• Support curriculum design, updates, and continuous improvement
Requirements
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, tools, and frameworks
• Industry or training experience in cybersecurity
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and mentorship skills
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, CISSP) are an added advantage
